Dynasol Assembly BOM UoM is a lightweight extension that adds cost and price intelligence to standard Assembly BOM functionality in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It pulls the latest unit costs and prices from Item and Resource cards, calculates line totals, and displays BOM summaries in real time.

Review line-level cost and selling price
Unit Cost
Displays the current unit cost from the Item card.
Unit Price
Displays the selling price from the Item card.
Total Line Cost
Calculated as Quantity per multiplied by Unit Cost.
Total Line Price
Calculated as Quantity per multiplied by Unit Price.
Get a complete assembly-level summary
Total Cost
Summarizes line costs across the entire BOM, including lines that are not visible in the current page view.
Total Price
Summarizes line selling prices across the entire BOM for a consolidated overview.
See estimated BOM values on the Item Card
For items with Assembly BOM enabled, the extension displays Estimated BOM Cost and Estimated BOM Price in the Replenishment section. This gives users quick access to assembly-level cost and price information from the item record.
Designed to update as BOM details change

Values update after changes to Quantity per, Component No., or Unit of Measure Code.

Navigate to the Assembly BOM
New cost and price columns load automatically with current values.
Edit a BOM line
Change Quantity per or switch the Unit of Measure and the line totals update.
Review the BOM totals
Scroll to the bottom to view the complete assembly cost and selling price summary.
